Introduction

The software WinCanVX has originally been developed for the assessment of local or continuous defects within pipeline networks. The scope of rehabilitation, as a consequence of damage assessment, is providing various methods that can be sub-divided into the following categories:

WinCanVX checks the whole project, recognizes repeatedly appearing damage codes, which are usually spread over the whole project and automatically assigns the appropriate rehabilitation method to them.

Catalogue

The installation of WinCanVX currently provides default rehabilitation catalogs for the English and German speaking area. They can all be modified with a separate catalogue editor you can open via the command Home > Rehab Catalogue Editor:

The editor interface then allows you to import and edit existing catalogues or to create new catalogues. Hit the buttons Catalog Catalogue Settings > General and check the fields highlighted below:

  1. Create new rehabilitation catalogue

  2. Copy rehabilitation catalog catalogue from a database

  3. Open existing rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  4. Close current rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  5. Save changes done within the current rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  6. Import existing rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  7. Export existing rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  8. Show recently opened catalogcatalogue

  9. Delete rehabilitation catalogcatalogue

  10. Close catalog catalogue editor

Hitting the button Methods the user can have shown all predefined and hierarchically ordered methods of an existing rehabilitation catalogue.
You first have to import the catalogue via the button . The installation directory C:\Users\Public\Documents\CDLAB\Common\Catalogs\MethodCatalogs already contains default catalogs catalogues for the English and German speaking area:
