Video Encoding Card
Recording video clips in the formats MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 usually requires the use of specific hardware encoding devices.
CDLab provides and entirely supports the following products directly
- VITEC board (PCI/PCI-Express): used in desktop computers
Type specifications: VM4-2-C7 or VM4-2-C8 - MobileCap 124 (USB-card): connected to Laptops
- It is also possible to install any other common USB video encoding card available on the free market but with limited support.
Chassis Dimensions
Mind the minimum chassis height/depth for desktop computers in order to plug in the VITEC board properly.
The values for the dimensions indicated below can always differ from the dimensions of the products currently available on the market!
