Unable to Login to WinCan VX with a Software License
Only applies to PCs using the WinCan VX software licensing system (i.e. no dongle).
If you experience problems with WinCan VX failing to launch and reporting an error regarding a failure to login, then there is often an easy fix:
Make sure that the PC is connected to the Internet.
Close VX.
Navigate in Windows to the folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\CDLABSettings
Delete the file settings.data inside.
Try again.
