WinCan Web: User permission roles

WinCan Web provides different user permission levels, which are also known as user roles. The user that has got the role company admin is able to invite new users and assign them one of the corresponding roles described below in detail:

Role for company project administrators

  • Full access to all projects

  • Edit all projects

  • Usage of all Web functionalities/commands (tools, download)

  • Invite new users

  • Send project links to end customers

Company operator

Role for company project managers

  • Full access to assigned projects

  • Edit assigned projects

  • Usage of all Web functionalities/commands (tools, download)

  • Send project links to end customers

Company operator (all projects visible)

Role for company project managers

  • Full access to assigned projects

  • Usage of all Web functionalities/commands (tools, download)

  • Send project links to end customers

VX operator

Role for TV operators.

  • Upload projects with WinCan VX

  • No access to projects located on the CLOUD

End User (all projects visible)

Role for end users with donwload option, all projects available

  • View to all projects (TV protocol (PDF) and Map) → Read Only

  • Download

  • No upload/download overview

End User (Download)

Role for end users with donwload option

  • View to assigned projects (TV protocol (PDF) and Map) → Read Only

  • Download

  • No upload/download overview

In case projects should be edited/modified directly on the CLOUD within a multi user environment, each user will need a FLEX license as listed below:

  • User 1: company admin (1st Flex license)

  • User 2: company operator (2nd Flex license)

  • User 3: company operator (3nd Flex license)

etc.
