A current supply which is significantly lower than 300 mA will get the control lamp flashed up only weakly. So the device will not be able to properly transmit the video signal. Proceed as follows to resolve this issue:

• Make sure the device is plugged directly into a USB-port located on the computer/notebook.

• Make sure you have downloaded and installed all available chipset updates for your computer hardware: some chipset updates provide an improvement of the power supply via the USB-ports
