VITEC, VM4-C9; Blue Screen

Problem/Question:

The video capture board VM4-C9 has been installed on new computer under WINDOWS 11 using the latest version of WinCanVX DriverSetup (2.7.8) but VITEC test application unexpectedly shows a blue screen in the video preview panel.

However the signal has been transmitted for a short time a few minutes ago.

Solution/Answer:

This issue can be due to the following reasons:

  • Camera not properly connected to video capture board; check whether the HDMI cable is properly plugged into the corresponding port.

  • Graphic board not properly installed: make sure the latest version of the graphic board driver has been installed.
