Problem/Question

Why does as a driver for devices like VTG2 (text generator device) or Sensoray 2250 (video capture device) in some rare cases have to be re-installed after each computer relaunch?

Solution/Answer

This issue is due specific settings in Windows 10 or Windows 11. Change the settings as follows prior to the driver installation:

Go to START > Settings > Update & Security

Select the category Windows Security > Device security:

Make sure the Memory integrity is switched off:

Re-install the driver and RELAUNCH your computer: the device should still be recognized by the operating system.
