v18.1 Release Notes - 24 February 2026

Version 18.1 delivers a major set of improvements centered around ISYBAU standard enhancements, significantly strengthening workflows related to import, export, coordinate handling, and overall data consistency. These changes introduce clearer user feedback and more reliable data flows across the entire ISYBAU pipeline.

Alongside ISYBAU updates, the release includes a wide range of bug fixes, stability improvements, and UI/UX refinements across VX.

A key highlight of this version is the first phase of a broader refactoring effort. This refactor forms the foundation for one of our annual goals: making VX easier to use by reducing technical complexity, cleaning up dependencies, and improving the internal architecture to enable a smoother, more predictable user experience in upcoming releases.

We also continued investing in Spirallo module, where we have begun refreshing its layout and general UI/UX. This is the first step toward modernizing Spirallo's interface and improving measurement workflows.

On the integrations side, important progress was made with Vivax - a highly relevant integration for the German market - and Cartegraph, which now fully supports not only export, but also import of GIS‑based data, significantly expanding interoperability capabilities.

Additional improvements include EPSG unification work, fix to Ring Laser issue, expanded product metrics reporting, and multiple refinements across mapping, drawing, licensing, and video‑handling components.

Overall, this release increases reliability, improves coordinate‑driven workflows, strengthens integrations, and sets a strong foundation for the usability improvements planned for this year.
