v18.3 Release Notes - 21 April 2026

This release focuses on stability, integrations, and standards support, delivering multiple fixes across core VX workflows.

Significant improvements were made in AMS integrations, addressing stability and compatibility issues with Cityworks and Cartegraph, including token handling, export reliability, and import to existing projects.

The release also includes a broad set of bug fixes, improving overall reliability in project creation, Map startup, Web login, drawing and mapping, reporting accuracy, monitoring stability, and application shutdown behavior.

Continued progress was made on NASSCO v8, resolving export and import issues, improving validation behavior, and ensuring correct handling of units for imperial inspections.

In addition, updates to 3D measurement logic, WSA 2025 standard support, technical debt reduction, and test automation strengthen the foundation for future development.

Looking ahead, version 18.4 is planned for May 19, 2026

  • WVX-11676 – No observations allowed for “incomplete inspection”

  • WVX-11497 – Import fails for NASSCO 8 with overly long node coordinates

  • WVX-11349 – Imperial inspections use meters instead of feet

📐 Standards & Compliance

  • WVX-11826 – Protect WSA 2025 with 2026 maintenance slot

🔭 Looking Ahead

Alongside the fixes delivered in this version, we have made strong progress on enhancements that are not yet released.

A significant portion of development effort in this release was dedicated to the Spirallo New UI. The focus was on stabilizing the technical foundation, improving internal architecture, and expanding measurement, video, and visualization capabilities. While these improvements are not yet available to end users, they represent an important step toward a modernized, unified, and more intuitive Spirallo experience.
