  1. Go to Home > Settings and click on the category Plugins OR go to Tools > MiscTools > Project MediaFiles Renaming > Settings
  2. Select the plugin Project MediaFiles Renaming and choose a predefined field combination (e.g. CH-Interlis, Madrid, WC4 Thames Water etc.): these combination combinations strictly follow the official naming standard which may be are mainly used in your country or region.
  3. Select the list entry Custom if you want to have photo/video files renamed applying a field combination that you defined yourself.
  4. Check the option Always trigger when new media file is created.

  5. Click on the gear wheel icon right to the group each media file group (i.e. Sec/Lat video:, Sec/Lat picture, Node video, Node picture).
  6. Double-click on a the desired database field from the list on the RIGHT side of the panel to move it into the list box on the LEFT:.
  7. Repeat this step, until all fields needed for creation of a sensible file name , will be listed inside the field on the LEFT.

  8. Use the button arrow buttons Move Up or Move Down (1) to re-order the fields
  9. Click on the green OK button to confirm the customized name for video filesthe previously selected media file group
  10. Launch the renaming process hitting the command Tools > MiscTools > Project MediaFiles Renaming > SectionAsset (or Lateral/NodeAsset respectively)Image Added

Keep in mind that media files should have an unique name! Please use the simulation first, so you are able to check the result before.
