Question/Problem:
VTG2 is an overlay by PS hard- & software GmbH. The overlay is mostly use by RICO GmbH.
To use this osd the drivers have to be installed on the PC. And there are different version of the VTG2.
To figure out what device and divers are installed, you have this DeviceEnumerator.exe tool.
Answer/Solution:
Run the tool DeviceEnumerator.exe located in C:\Program Files (x86)\CDLab\Assemblies.
Hit the button search VTG2 to check whether or which VTG2 subtype is currently communication with your computer. The cases below show all communication results the tool may return:
No VTG2 device is found.
VTG2 B/W is found but no driver is installed
VTG2 is found but the Virtual COM-port is not enabled.
VTG2 found but the divers for the serial port is not installed
CVTG2 found and all driver are installed
7 unknown Situation detected
If the test tool shows a red message info, the Camera reseller as to check the VTG2 installation. And necessary install any missing drivers.
