Question/Problem

The LED lamp located on the rear part of the card is flashing up in RED and is not recognized in the WINDOWS device manager. What may be the reason for this error?

Answer/Solution

If the red LED warning lamp flashes up, an unknown process is blocking the card from starting up correctly. 

Proceed as follows to fix this error:

  • Shut down the computer 

  • Place a JUMPER on slot J1 (between SDI and analog audio connector, as shown below) 

  • Reboot the computer

If the card is properly recognized in the WINDOWS device manager after installation, the jumper must not be used.
