How does an operator have to work with the Sewerlink App? Which hardware devices has this application been developed for?

The Sewerlink App has especially been designed for quick inspection systems like QuickView, JetScan etc. The operator has to follow the steps below for an efficient use:

• Make sure you have got a personal account for WinCanWEB with the option FLEX included

• Install the Sewerlink App on a tablet computer with an iOS or an Android operating system

• Establish a WiFi connection between the hardware device and the tablet PC

• Launch the Sewerlink App, record a video clip and take pictures: the application creates data packages as so called simple projects (media files without database):

• Upload the project directly from the tablet computer to the WinCan Cloud

• Log in to WinCanWEB using your personal account and convert the simple project into a normal project (with a database).

• Mind the damage standard used in your country (WRC, PACP, WSA, NZPIM, EN13508 etc.), so that you can create observations.

• Download the project to your local hard drive, open it in WinCanVX and create a PDF report, if necessary.

Proceed as follows, if the direct project upload from the tablet computer to the WinCan CLOUD unexpectedly fails or is incomplete.

• Hit the button export to create a ZIP-file of the project (only available in the latest version of the Sewerlink App).

• Upload this ZIP file to the iCLOUD (iPad) or the GoogleCLOUD (Android tablets)

• Login to your personal iCLOUD or GoogleCLOUD workspace and download the ZIP file to your local desktop computer.

• Extract the ZIP file and re-upload the simple project from your local hard drive to WinCanWEB using the functionality below:
