WinCan MobileApp: Project Creation in Offline Mode

Introduction

When using the MobileApp to create a new project, your device must be connected to the internet the first time. This initial online connection is required to download the template configuration from WinCan Web.

Process overview

Here’s how the process works:

1. First Time (Online):

   • User creates new project on the MobileApp

   • Device connects to the internet

   • MobileApp downloads and stores the template configuration on the device (smartphone or tablet)

2. Future Use (Offline Possible):

   • Device does not need internet.

   • MobileApp uses stored template configuration to create new projects.

This setup ensures that you have the flexibility to work on projects without needing a constant internet connection after the initial setup. The standard configurations (like WSA, PACP, WRc, Isybau, DWA, VSA …) will be available offline because they are stored on your device.
