Enable Defect Grade Description

This article will show how to change from Category colours to Graded colours when printing a report and
enable the Defect Grade Description option.

Above is an example page printed using Category colours. Note the key for colours is at the bottom of the page.

The example below is the same page printed using Graded colours. 

                                              

There is no key for this page so the Defect grade description page below shows the meaning of the colours.   

                                                    

How to print the Defect Grade Description page.

Open the report to be printed and go to the Printing tab to enter the printing panel below.

 

If WinCanVX is already set to category colours the Defect Grade Description page will be greyed out ( highlighted above). This is because the key would already be printed at the bottom of the section.  See example page opposite.

In order to change to Graded colours from the printing panel

  1. Highlight the Section Inspection. This should open the page below to give you specific options.
  2. Click the radio button to change from Category to Graded Colours. Once chaged the Defect Grade Description will become active and can then be ticked


Print the project as normal.
