Activate/Install/Deactivate WinCan License

The Following shows you how to Activate/Install/Deactivate your Wincan license.

Step 1

In Wincan VX, navigate to the top left of the screen and click on “Home”

Click on “Manage License” (1) then click on “License Settings” (2)

Note that 'Wincan' licensing system is the default setting in new WinCan VX software versions.

Next, the “Manage License” popup will open.
In the “Activation Code” (1) box, please copy and paste or type in your activation code.

In the “Alias” section, it is important to enter sufficient information to properly identify the computer attached to the license.

Under “User Name” (2) entering a unique name of your choice is highly recommended, a simple one to use is the name of your computer, (e.g. DESKTOP-TMOPRD7).

Under “Vehicle Registration” (3) if the computer is being used in a van, it is recommended to enter the van’s registration number.

Once you are done entering the information, click on “Ok” and you are done activating wincan.

Additional steps

 If you navigate back to the “Manage License > License Settings” section, the following is now available.

 Here you can deactivate the license, change the license and update the alias.

on the following screen you can enter a recipient for the new activation code

Then once deactivated the new code will appear to reactivate on same machine or copy to alternative machine
